Chipex Paid Social

Reddit Ads for Car Care Brands - A Paid Social Case Study

A Flawless Finish

686% ROAS in 3 Months
75% Higher ROAS Than Meta
48% Lower DPA Than Meta
Partnering with Chipex, we launched Reddit as a brand new paid social channel - proving it could deliver profitable purchases from day one and outperform an already mature Meta campaign within three months.

The Challenge

Chipex were running successful paid social campaigns on established platforms, but growth was beginning to plateau. They wanted to reach new high-intent audiences and unlock additional revenue streams without increasing reliance on existing channels.

The Strategy

SQUIDGY identified highly relevant Reddit communities where users actively discuss car detailing, paint repair, and vehicle maintenance. Creative was adapted to feel native to Reddit’s discussion-driven environment while clearly communicating Chipex’s product benefits.

We rapidly tested audience and creative combinations, scaling what worked quickly to maximise ROAS and drive down acquisition costs.

The Results

Reddit delivered 686% ROAS within the first three months – outperforming Meta by 75% despite Meta being a mature, long-running channel. Customer acquisition costs were also 48% lower than Meta over the same period.

In short, we turned a completely untested channel into Chipex’s most efficient paid social performer – delivering stronger returns at a lower cost than anything they were already running.
